Sharing my Story!
I'm glad to introduce you to Hilltop Baby and More. I am Gail Van Veldhuizen, the owner and designer of the personalized embroidered baby gifts for your baby and family in my handmade shop. I am located in the small rural town of Rock Valley Iowa which is surrounded with the country smells and waving corn fields.
As a mother of ten and grandmother of twenty five, I have a special soft spot for babies in my life relishing making many embroidered monogramed baby gifts for many years.
The love of designing and sewing which goes back many years in my life:
💖My ancestors were tailors by trade in Europe.
💖When my children were young I sewed many of the clothes they wore and loved doing it.
💖I enjoyed designing different items for my grandchildren using my embroidery machine. My favorite was making them their own special blanket along with matching items to go with it.
Several of my children said, "Mom, why don't you sell these blankets?" That is when I decide on starting my Hilltop Baby and More shop on Etsy.
Designing is still my favorite!! If you have a special nursery that you are wanting, contact me. I would love to design the nursery of your choice!
